Pineapple Raita

Preparation Time - 5 Min                                             Serves - 4

Ingredients:


Chopped pineapple - 1 Cup

Yogurt(Curd) - 1 Cup

Sugar - 1 1/2 Tbsp

Salt - 1/4 Tsp

Chaat Masala - a pinch

Red chili powder - a pinch (Optional)

Method:


1) In a bowl mix chopped pineapple and 1/2 tbsp sugar. Keep this aside for 10 min.

2) Add yogurt in bowl and mix it well. Add salt, remaining sugar, chaat masala and red chili powder and mix well.

3) Refrigerate it for 1 hr and serve.

Mix Fruit Raita

Preparation Time - 10 Min                                                                             Serves - 5

Ingredients:


Apple - 1 small

Pear - 1 small 

Pomegranate - 2 Tbsp

Grapes - 15

Yogurt(Curd) - 1 Cup

Chat Masala - 1/2 Tsp

Cumin powder - 1/4 Tsp

Salt - 1/2 Tsp

Chili powder - a pinch

Sugar - 2 Tsp

Raisins - 1 Tbsp (Optional)

Cashew nuts - 2 (Optional)

Method:


1) Wash, peel and chop apple and pear in cubes.

2) Chop grapes vertically and keep aside.

3) In a bowl whisk yogurt. Add 2 tbsp of water and mix well.

4) Add chat masala, cumin powder, salt, sugar and chili powder and mix well.

5) Add all fruits, nuts and raisins and refrigerate for 30 mins. and then serve.

Boondi Raita


Ingredients:


Yogurt - 1 Cup

Boondi (masala or kara) - 1/4 Cup

Red chili powder - 1/4 Tsp

Chat masala - 1/2 Tsp

Sugar - 1 Tsp

Salt - to taste

Finely chopped cilantro - 1 tbsp

Method :


1) In a bowl take yogurt and whisk it well.

2) Add red chili powder, cumin powder, sugar, salt, and finely chopped cilantro and mix well.

3) Add boondi and mix well.

4) Sprinkle little red chili powder and cilantro and serve.

Methicha Khuda/Methi Salad

Preparation Time - 10 Min                                                     Serves - 4

Ingredients :


Finely chopped methi (Fenugreek leaves) - 2 Cup

Finely chopped onion - 1/4 Cup

Finely chopped tomato - 1/4 Cup

Lemon juice - 1 Tsp

Red chili powder - 1/2 Tsp

Salt - 1/2 Tsp

Sugar - 1/4 Tsp

Oil - 2 Tsp

Cumin seeds - 1 Tsp

Method:


1) In a bowl mix methi, onion and tomato.

2) Heat oil in small pan and add cumin seeds. Switch off stove and after few seconds add red chili powder.

3) Add this tadka on methi mixture.

4) Add salt,sugar and lemon juice and mix well and serve.
