Sabudana Ladoo

This is very easy ladoo recipe for fast.


Ingredients:


Sabudana - 1 Cup

Sugar - 3/4 Cup

Ghee - 6 Tbsp

Nuts - a few to decorate

Method:


1) Dry roast sabudana toll golden in color.



2) Grind sabudana and sugar separately to fine powder.

3) Take a big bowl and add ground sugar, sabudana and nuts.

4) Heat ghee in pan and add it to sabudana mixture.



5) Mix well everything and make ladoo of your desired size and shape.

Sabudana Kheer


Ingredients:


Sabudana - 1/3 Cup

Milk - 1/2 Liter

Sugar - 1/3 Cup

Kesar - 3-4 Strands

Almonds -  8-10 sliced

Cashew Nuts - 8-10 chopped

Cardamom Powder - 1/4 Tsp

Method:


1) Wash and soak sabudana for 4-6 hrs.

2) Boil milk for 10-15 min on low flame. Meanwhile soak kesar in 1 tbsp of milk.

3) Add sugar, almonds and cashew nuts in milk and mix well.

4) Add soaked sabudana and kesar.

5) Let the kheer boil for another 5-8 min.

6) Serve hot or chilled as you like.

GopalKala

Gopal Kala is made on Krishna Janmashtami in Maharashtra. Gopal Kala needs no recipe.. however, I am giving this for those who do not know.

Ingredients:


Thick Poha(Flattened Rice) - 2 Cup

Jawar Lahi - 1 Cup

Chana Dal- 1/4 Cup

Milk - 3/4 Cup

Curd - 1/4 Cup 

Green Chili - 2

Fresh Cilantro - 1/4 Cup

Sugar - 2 Tsp

Salt - 1/2 Tsp

Mango Pickle - 1 Tbsp

Lime Pickle - 1 Tbsp

Method:


1) Soak chana dal for 2 -3 hrs.

2) Finely chop green chili and cilantro and keep aside.

3) Take a big bowl and mix everything. 
    Tip : Add more milk and curd as required.

4) Offer to lord Krishna as prasadam and enjoy.

Haliv Kheer




This is very easy and healthy kheer for nursing mom.. One can start eating in 8th month of pregnancy and continue till postpartum. You can also enjoy in winter, however, always eat it in small quantity.

Ingredients:


Haliv(Aliv) - 1 Tbsp

Milk - 1 1/4 Cup

Sugar - 2 1/2 Tbsp

Dates - 6

Cashew Nuts - 8

Almonds - 8

Method:


1) Soak haliv in water for 3-4 hrs.



2) In another bowl soak almonds and cashew nuts.

3) Boil milk for 5-7 min. 

4) Meanwhile blanch almonds. Finely chop dates, soaked cashew nuts and almonds.
    Tip : Instead of dates you can use dry dates powder (kharik powder).

5) Add sugar, chopped dry fruits and soaked haliv to milk and boil for another 3-5 min.

6) Serve hot or cool as you like.
