Sakhar Amba

Preparation Time - 10 Min                     Cooking Time - 8 Min             Serves - 6
          

Ingredients :


Raw Mango - 1

Sugar - 1 Cup

Cardamom powder - a pinch

Saffron - 4 strands

Method:


1) Wash, peel and grate mango. Use medium fine grater.

2) Add sugar to grated mango and keep aside for 1 hour.
   Tip: Sugar depends upon the size and sourness of mango.

3) Add cardamom powder and saffron strands and heat this mixture in a saucepan stirring occasionally till it thickens or sugar syrup of two string consistency forms.

4) Let this mixture cool completely and store in a airtight container. You can store this for months.
