Eggless Orange Cake

Preparation Time - 10 Min                                Cooking Time - 45 Min                    

Ingredients :


All purpose flour - 1 1/2 Cup

Fine Sugar - 3/4 Cup

Baking powder - 1 Tbsp

Baking Soda - 1/4 Tsp

Vinegar - 1 Tsp

Salt - 1/4 Tsp

Melted Butter - 1/4 Cup or 1/2 Stick

Oil - 1/4 Cup

Milk - 3/4 Cup

Vanilla extract - 1/4 Tsp

Orange Juice - 1/2 Cup

Orange zest - 1 Tsp

Method:


1) Preheat oven to 325° F or 160° C.

2) In a bowl take flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix well.
    Tip : Sift the flour mixture 2 -3 time to mix dry ingredients nicely.



3) Add orange zest and sugar and mix well.

4) In another bowl mix melted butter, oil , milk and orange juice and mix well.
Tip: Make sure all ingredients are at room temp.



5) Add the butter mixture and vinegar in flour mixture and beat nicely.

6) Pour the batter in greased and dusted pan(8 inch) and bake in preheated oven for 40-45 mins (depending on your oven) or till cake springs back when pressed lightly.



7) Let the cake cool for 45 mins and then remove from the pan and serve.
    Tip: You can dust it with powdered sugar before serving.
